2010 Governor’s Housing Conference dates announced
The 2010 Governor’s Housing Conference will be held in capital of Virginia next year. Join us for the conference Nov. 17 – 19, 2010 which will be held at the Richmond Marriott. The Governor’s Housing Conference is Virginia’s largest and most comprehensive affordable housing event of the year. The three-day event features workshops and sessions designed to help public and private sector representatives develop effective housing solutions in Virginia. Nearly 900 affordable housing advocates, providers, and policy makers gathered each year at the conference.
2009 Virginia Housing Awards winners announced
Each year at the Governor’s Housing Conference the Virginia Housing Awards are presented to recognize outstanding and innovative efforts in crafting effective solutions to the commonwealth’s complex array of housing needs. This year’s five awards included: Best Housing Development; Best Housing Program; Best Housing Preservation/Revitalization Effort; Best Affordable Housing Energy Conservation Effort; and Best Mixed Use or Mixed Income Housing Development.
