Registration for the 2008 Governor’s Housing Conference is online now. The 2008 conference will be held Nov. 12 – 14 in Hampton, Virginia. This year’s pre-conference sessions include EarthCraft Green Communities and Buildings, Fair Housing, FHA 101, Media and Policy Training, and Grants on Track.

2008 GHC workshop proposals accepted
The program committee for the Virginia Governor’s Housing Conference is accepting proposals for workshops to be offered during the 2008 conference in Hampton, VA on November 12 - 14, 2008. Proposals are being sought that address a broad range of housing affordability and policy issues, such as: Economic Development and Affordable Housing; Meeting the Foreclosure Crisis with Successful Strategies; Developing Affordable Housing in Rural Communities, and more.
